Make it quick. Customers vote on Accu-Chek Performa
Reading between the lines in the recent poll to confirm what customers like best about the Accu-Chek Performa blood glucose system, we can see you're not the types to sit around twiddling your thumbs. No way. You've got better things to do than wait for blood test results. That's why the overwhelming winner in the poll was fast test results. This function scored 60 percent of all the votes.
With results in just 5 seconds, the Accu-Chek Performa sure gives you the result fast.
But that's not the only speedy function customers like.
The second placed function was fast fill of the test strip. The fast fill is possible not only because of the design and technology of the strip, but also because you need such a tiny sample. The smaller the sample, the less time you have to work at it. And the Accu-Chek Performa requires just a 0.6uL sample. That's small.
Combined with the fast test result, it means you can have a blood glucose test done and dusted in one minute, or less if you're really good. And clearly, that's what people appreciate.

The tech fans around the office were a bit surprised that the connectivity function didn't rank higher. But perhaps that's a growing option. As more people get to understand the value of hooking up with software to analyse results, this will no doubt become more popular, especially because of its wireless connectivity. No extra cables or leads, no extra mess around the computer.
But there was no surprise that the Accu-Chek Multiclix which comes in the meter pack was the most popular, after the two fast options. After all, the Accu-Chek Multiclix is the absolute latest in finger-pricking devices, so it's easier, almost painless1 and has the big advantage of not needing to handle lancets.
As well as the votes for the functions noted above, several people noted that the Accu-Chek Performa responds well even in cold temperature. With all the winter storms and cold weather we've had recently, that will have been very reassuring for lots of people.
For everyone though, the big deal is how fast can you go. With the Accu-Chek Performa, blood glucose testing is quicker than ever, and that's a definite winner with our customers.
