Volunteers wanted for Type 1 treatment

If YOU or your children are under the age of 30 and have a relative with type 1 diabetes, a simple blood test can determine your likelihood of developing type 1 diabetes.

If the test shows that you’re at high risk, you may be able to participate in a trial looking at a new treatment that may prevent or delay you developing type 1 diabetes.

Importantly you could also play a crucial role in helping to prevent type 1 diabetes in your children or grandchildren.

This is available to anyone in New Zealand.
